It sounds complicated, but it's actually quite simple: When decorating, “dressing” simply means piping cream, custard or topping onto a pastry using a piping bag.
The rolling pin can be used to perfectly roll out rolled fondant, flower paste, modeling chocolate, etc. The Decocino rolling pin is made of non-stick plastic. The attachable spacer rings ensure an even fondant thickness.

Whether it's a springform pan, loaf pan, baking tray, waffle iron, donut or cake pop maker - with the baking release spray you can quickly and easily prepare any baking pan for baking. You can also use baking release spray for frying and spray your frying and crêpe pans with it. You simply shake the can well and spray your baking pan evenly and thinly at a distance of approx. 20-30 cm - and you're done! The cumbersome handling of brushes, fat and flour or baking paper is now a thing of the past. You also use much less fat with baking release spray. A sponge cake is a popular base for cakes, tarts and much more. It consists of beaten eggs, sugar and a little flour. If the sponge cake is prepared correctly, it creates a light and fluffy base. Flower paste is a ready-to-use sugar mass for modeling delicate decorations such as flowers, blossoms, numbers and letters. Unlike modeling fondant and modeling chocolate, you can roll it out very thinly. Decocino flower paste is extremely elastic and hardens quickly and completely. This makes Decocino flower paste the ideal product if you want to shape and cut out particularly delicate flowers and delicate decorative elements. Briefly knead the required amount of flower paste until it is smooth before use. Roll it out thinly on Decocino baking starch and shape it into your favorite shapes. Since flower paste hardens very quickly, you have to work with it quickly.
You can choose the color of your flowers and decorative elements by simply coloring the white Decocino flower paste with Decocino food coloring paste and kneading it. Simply let the finished decorative elements air dry and then attach them to your cake with food glue. If you don't use up the entire Decocino flower paste pack, you can wrap the remaining flower paste in cling film and then in an airtight container (e.g. storage container) and store it in a cool, dry place. Not in the refrigerator!
Buttercream is suitable for filling, spreading, decorating and garnishing cream cakes, fondant cakes, muffins, cupcakes and for baking classic recipes with buttercream such as Frankfurter Kranz, Esterhazy cake, Fürst-Pückler cake and Donauwellen. Basically, the confectionery trade knows four different types of buttercream, which differ slightly in terms of ingredients and taste or consistency. The "German buttercream" (also called pudding cream) is made from starch, milk and butter. The "French cream" consists of eggs, fat and sugar. The "Italian cream" contains egg whites, fat and sugar. The "American cream" consists only of sugar and fat.
The buttercream for mixing Decocino is similar to the taste of German buttercream. It tastes natural, is light and airy. The consistency becomes firmer if you put the baked goods in the fridge to cool. The Decocino buttercream is quick and easy to prepare and is guaranteed to be a success. All you need to add is water and butter.

Cake pops are small cakes on a stick and are therefore sometimes called "cake lollipops". They are very popular as sweet or salty snacks at parties and celebrations and you can use them to visually spice up all candy bars and cake buffets. There are also endless decoration options and you can even make cake pops from leftover cake!
There are basically two different ways to make cake pops: In the first variant, you mix a cake pop dough and bake it in the cake pop maker or in a special cake pop silicone baking mold. In the second variant, you crumble baked cake or muffins. Then you mix the crumbs with jam, cream or chocolate to form a mass and use it to form your cake pops.

Color paste is a concentrated paste that you can use to color foods such as rolled fondant, flower paste, cake dough, marzipan, creams, icing, drinks and food. Diluted with water or alcohol, you can even paint with color paste and apply your designs to rolled fondant with a brush or sponge. Decocino food color pastes are available in six different colors. You can mix Decocino food color pastes with each other as you like, so your color palette is infinite. In contrast to color powder and liquid food coloring, color pastes have the advantage that you can also use them to color rolled fondant, flower paste and modeling chocolate. Edible gold and silver in powder form - this is how you can achieve great shine and glitter effects on your baked goods. It is best to apply the color powder with a tassel brush. If you dissolve Decocino color powder in a little water or alcohol, you can also use it for painting with a brush. Make sure that you only use the color powder to decorate surfaces. If you knead it into rolled fondant, flower paste or modeling chocolate, it loses its effect. The same thing happens if you try to color creams with it.
Fondant is a soft, pasty sugar mass made from water, sucrose, glucose syrup, invert sugar cream and/or sugar alcohols that is used to cover cakes, tarts and other baked goods. There is liquid fondant (icing) and rolled fondant, a ready-to-use covering mass. Decocino offers rolled fondant in the following variations: Decocino rolled fondant white, Decocino rolled fondant colour, Decocino rolled fondant gold and silver and Decocino rolled fondant with flavour.
Frosting (also called “icing”) is cake glaze. The two terms are derived from “to ice (icing)” and “frosting = frozen”. They probably come from the fact that white icing looks as if the surface were frozen ice.
Football hearts beat faster: muffins baked in football molds and decorated with edible Decocino football decorations or a whole football field with players on the table as a cake. Ganache is a mixture of chocolate and boiled whipped cream. You can use ganache to prepare your cakes and tarts for fondant. You cover your cakes and tarts with a first layer of ganache, the so-called crumb layer, and allow it to set. Then you cover your cakes and tarts with a second layer of ganache to create a smooth surface and allow the ganache to set again. Repeat this process until the surface is completely smooth. One of the purposes of ganache is to prevent rolled fondant from coming into contact with the filling. Basically, rolled fondant should never come into direct contact with cream, quark and yoghurt or other products with a high liquid content. Otherwise the rolled fondant will lose its shape. It will dissolve and become liquid.
A classic ganache consists of one part whipped cream and two parts dark chocolate or couverture. You can vary the mixing ratio depending on the cocoa content of the chocolate and the purpose for which you are making the ganache. You can also use ganache as a filling for cakes. Generally, recipes for a ganache for filling cakes and tarts are lighter and airier than a ganache that you use to prepare your cakes and tarts for fondant.
A glaze is suitable for covering cakes, pastries and much more. It looks very similar to chocolate coating. The difference to chocolate coating is that the glaze comes in different flavors. For example, there is glaze with lemon, nuts or vanilla. It also does not have to contain high-quality cocoa butter. However, this has the advantage that a glaze does not have to be tempered. A glaze is therefore particularly suitable for beginners.
With the glitter cocoa you can easily decorate your desserts, cakes and more. The cocoa can be used in both cold and warm desserts and drinks. The glitter in the cocoa also sticks to cream. Even if you want to decorate homemade ice cream with the glitter cocoa, that's no problem. It is freezer-safe and can easily be frozen. Thanks to the tin and the different openings, the cocoa is easy to portion out.
Glucose syrup is a viscous sugar syrup that is used for cooking and baking. It is particularly suitable for confectionery, chocolates, pastries and bars. The syrup prevents the crystallization of sugar and thus ensures that chocolate fillings melt in the mouth and prevents pastries from drying out. The syrup also serves as a binding agent and improves the consistency of cakes.

Couverture is a chocolate coating. It is suitable for covering cakes with a delicious chocolate layer. Chocolates, pastries and desserts can also be refined with couverture. The difference between couverture and chocolate is the proportion of high-quality cocoa butter. This means that couverture has a higher fat content than conventional chocolate. With food coloring, you can color your baked goods, desserts, drinks or cream to suit your taste. There are three types of food coloring, each of which is suitable for baking and decorating to varying degrees.
Liquid food coloring: You can use these to color doughs or creams, for example. However, liquid food coloring is not suitable for coloring rolled fondant, as the addition of liquid negatively affects the consistency and processing quality of the rolled fondant.
Color powder: You can use color powder to create colorful accents. If you dissolve color powder in a little water or alcohol, you can also use it to paint. However, color powder is not suitable for coloring rolled fondant. The color pigments do not dissolve optimally, so unsightly color speckles remain.
Pastes and gel: Color pastes and color gels are ideal for coloring rolled fondant, flower paste, cake dough, marzipan, creams and icing, etc. Color pastes and color gels can be worked in easily and evenly, so that you get evenly colored rolled fondant and - if you have mixed in the right amount of color paste or color gel - strong colors, such as with the Decocino food color pastes. If you dilute color pastes and color gels with water or alcohol, you can also use the colors for painting.
With food coloring pencils you can paint, decorate and write on Decocino rolled fondant, Decocino flower paste, marzipan, edible paper, wafers and even boiled and possibly colored eggs. You can write and paint with them just like with conventional fiber pens. There is just one difference: the color you apply with food coloring pencils is edible!
Decocino food coloring pencils are available in 8 colors. Decocino food coloring pencils also have a practical double tip with 2.0 mm and 0.8 mm, so you can draw fine lines as well as color in larger areas. When painting and writing, make sure that the surface of your baked goods is slightly dry. This will make the color stronger when applied.
With edible food glue (also known as sugar glue) you can simply stick decorations onto rolled fondant and glue individual parts of modeled flowers and figures together so that they stay in place. Make sure you use a small amount. With Decocino food glue, it is enough to apply a very thin film. Food glue is often also referred to as sugar glue, although the glue does not contain any sugar at all. It consists of water, citric acid and carboxymethylcellulose, which is also found in ice cream, for example. Food glue is probably often colloquially called sugar glue because it is used to stick decorations made of sugar or rolled fondant parts on. Decocino food glue comes in a practical resealable tube that allows you to measure out the exact amount. If you want, you can also apply the Decocino food glue with a brush. It is also completely tasteless.

Meringue is a meringue made from sugar and eggs. It is important that the egg whites are beaten for a long time. This can cause the egg not to rise properly or the egg whites to collapse again. Using Decocino's meringue for mixing guarantees that the egg whites will be stable and will not collapse.
With metallic spray you can conjure up great color effects on your finished baking creations - simply spray it on your cakes, tarts, muffins, cookies, chocolate, marzipan, buttercream and other treats. Decocino metallic spray sticks almost everywhere!
Make sure that you shake the spray can well before use and spray the paint from a distance of about 10-15 cm. Work quickly so that the paint is evenly distributed. It is recommended that you protect the work surface from spray mist with a mat. Decocino metallic spray dries quickly, so that you can continue processing or serving your baked goods quickly. Decocino metallic spray is available in the colors gold, silver, copper and pink.
You use muffin cases when baking muffins. To do this, simply place the muffin cases in the muffin baking tray and then fill them with the batter. Decocino muffin cases are made of paper and you can bake them in the oven at up to 180°C.

There are several types of nougat. There is dark and white nougat. The dark variety in particular is used in patisserie and for baking, for example as a filling for pralines, chocolate and many other specialties. Nougat is a confectionery mass with a relatively high fat content. This gives it a delicate, melting consistency and practically melts on the tongue.

Wafer flowers are edible decorative flowers made from wafers or edible paper, which you can use to quickly and easily decorate your cakes, tarts, muffins, cupcakes, etc. Simply place or stick them on your baked goods - done! Decocino wafer flowers are available as edible roses and in the shape of daisies. Decocino wafer flowers are available in several color variations.
If you are working with cream, make sure that you only add the wafer flowers shortly before consumption.

A praline is a small sweet that must contain at least 25% chocolate and be bite-sized. With Decocino's praline shells, you can easily make your own pralines. They are available in dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. There is something for every taste.
With the help of our flavor pastes, many different fillings can be made, which can be easily filled into the hollow bodies thanks to the practical hole.

You can basically use any simple sponge cake recipe to bake a rainbow cake. After you have made the dough according to the baking instructions, simply divide the mixture into several parts and color each part of the dough with a different Decocino food coloring paste. For the classic rainbow cake you need 6 colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. You mix the orange and purple colors yourself using the Decocino food coloring pastes red and yellow or red, blue and a little pink. To start with, you can also work with 4 or 5 colors.
There are two ways of processing the dough. In the classic rainbow version, you bake the different colored doughs one after the other in a springform pan. Then you let the layers cool and stack them on top of each other, with a layer of cream or ganache in between. The other version is a bit quicker: you fill the middle of your springform pan with about 2 tablespoons of one color of dough and alternately place 2 tablespoons of a different color of dough on top until the dough is used up. The dough will run to the edge on its own. A zebra pattern will emerge when baking. This version of the rainbow cake is therefore often called "zebra cake."
With rolled fondant you can cover your cakes and tarts in all sizes and shapes and in any color you like. Covering them with rolled fondant also gives you a smooth surface. In addition to the classic covering of cakes, tarts and cookies, you can also cut out or make decorative pieces from rolled out Decocino rolled fondant. Decocino rolled fondant is also the basic product you need if you want to bake and decorate themed cakes.
When covering, you should first knead the rolled fondant until it is soft and smooth. Make sure that you do not fold the rolled fondant, as this could cause air bubbles to form in the fondant. If air bubbles do form, you can prick them with a needle and smooth them out again with a smoother. When working with it, it is best to sprinkle your work surface very thinly with baking starch. This way, the rolled fondant will not stick to the work surface. Also make sure that the work surface, your hands and the work materials are dry and free of grease. Never bring the rolled fondant into direct contact with cream, quark and yoghurt or other products with a high liquid content. Otherwise, the rolled fondant will lose its shape. It will dissolve and become liquid.
It is best to use a smooth rolling pin to roll out the fondant. Covering cakes and tarts requires a bit of practice. You will make it easier if you roll out the fondant a little thicker the first time.
To get the color you want, you can buy Decocino rolled fondant in the corresponding color. You can knead different colored Decocino rolled fondants together or you can color white or colored Decocino rolled fondant with Decocino food coloring pastes. Decocino rolled fondant is also available in different flavors and packaging sizes.
If you want, you can also use Decocino rolled fondant for modeling. To do this, mix the rolled fondant with Decocino flower paste in a 1:1 ratio. This gives you an elastic modeling fondant that is ideal for modeling figures, numbers and letters.
You can store finished rolled fondant cakes in the fridge. You must never cover them, otherwise moisture will build up under the cover. It is best to take your cake out of the fridge around 1-2 hours before serving. It may be slightly foggy. This is normal and is related to the temperature difference. If you leave your cake at room temperature for a few minutes, the moist effect will disappear. Make sure that you do not touch your cake with your hands now, otherwise you will leave fingerprints on the surface that will not go away. Humidity is also important. On humid summer days, the rolled fondant can become soft and sticky. You can prevent this by cooling the room and using a fan.
If you do not use up all of the rolled fondant packs, you can pack the leftovers in an airtight container (for example, in a storage container) and then store them in a cool, dry place, but never in the refrigerator.
The organic rolled fondant is made from controlled organically grown ingredients. It has a lower fat content and is lactose-free. The organic rolled fondant is extremely elastic and adapts perfectly to your cake and tart shape. The Decocino organic rolled fondant is available in white. You can use it to decorate anything that you would decorate with classic rolled fondant. The processing and application are the same. You can color the Decocino organic rolled fondant as you like with Decocino food coloring pastes.
With Russian nozzles you can make cream flowers in one step. For a perfect result you have to hold the piping bag with the nozzle vertically and press the cream through the nozzle with firm pressure. Slowly reduce the pressure and slowly pull the piping bag vertically upwards until the desired flower height is reached. Pull the piping nozzle upwards and away.
For the best result, it is best to use a firm cream, such as American buttercream, Swiss meringue or marshmallow fluff. If the cream becomes too soft while piping, the flowers may not work. In this case, simply cool the piping bag briefly in the refrigerator. For a two-colored topping, simply put both creams on one side of the inside of the piping bag and pipe on. The smoother can be used to smooth edges, sides and surfaces after covering with rolled fondant and to remove any unevenness. To do this, simply smooth the grease-free surface with circular movements. The Decocino smoother has two rounded edges and is available as a 2-in-1 smoother with a length of 15 and 10 centimeters.
Sprinkle decorations (also known as sugar sprinkle decorations) are small colored sugar decorations that you can sprinkle over your cakes, tarts, muffins, cupcakes, cake pops, cookies and biscuits or attach to them with Decocino food glue. Decocino sugar sprinkle decorations are available in many different shapes and colors. Sprinkle decorations are not ovenproof. This means that you can only decorate your cakes, tarts, etc. with them after baking. When decorating, make sure that you do not combine sprinkle decorations with cream, otherwise they may lose their shape and color.

Tempering means melting chocolate while checking the temperature at the same time. This is important in order to be able to work perfectly with chocolate coating, for example. Tempering gives you a particularly beautiful, smooth and shiny surface. This is especially important for pralines in order to get a perfect coating. If you want to make shapes out of chocolate, correct tempering makes it easier to remove from the mold.
To be able to temper chocolate perfectly, an accurate thermometer is important. It is also advisable to use high-quality chocolate coating. The easiest method is over a water bath.
Topping is derived from the English term “on top”. Topping refers to everything that you put on top of your cakes, tarts, muffins and cupcakes when decorating them, such as buttercream and whipped cream.
Cake toppers are sugar papers printed with food coloring that you can use to quickly and easily decorate cakes and tarts effectively. You can simply place the round, edible Decocino cake toppers directly on your cakes and tarts or stick them onto the Decocino rolled fondant with Decocino food glue. The Decocino cake toppers have a diameter of 16 cm and fit just as well on mini cakes and tarts as they do on larger baked goods.
When decorating, make sure that you do not bring the cake toppers into contact with cream or similar products, otherwise they will lose their shape. If you still want to use a cake topper to decorate a cream cake, do not put it on until at least 5 minutes before eating. To ensure that the cake topper lies flat, you can level the surface of your cake or tart with a large knife.
Cake decorations are anything you use to decorate, embellish or decorate a cake, whether it's buttercream, homemade or modeled decorative elements or pre-made cake and pie decorations. You can buy many ready-made edible cake decorations from Decocino, such as wafer flowers, cake toppers and sugar decorations. Of course, you can also make your own cake decorations from Decocino rolled fondant or Decocino flower paste. The easiest way to do this is to cut out circles, flowers or hearts from the rolled-out Decocino rolled fondant or Decocino flower paste using cookie cutters. If you have the time and inclination, you can also shape or model your cake decorations by hand. Just give it a try!

A cake saver is a real all-rounder. The thin plate is perfect for moving whole cakes and pies. You can also lift individual layers, for example. You can also decorate the cake directly on the cake saver and leave it to cool. The Decocino cake saver has a practical handle, which makes it easier to handle.

Vanilla extract is a liquid vanilla essence for baking and refining drinks and dishes. Vanilla extract is obtained from real vanilla pods. It contains the aromas of vanilla. Decocino vanilla extract is made from real Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar.
Vanillin and vanilla sugar are popular ingredients for seasoning and refining. Vanillin and vanilla sugar are often used synonymously. However, only vanilla sugar uses natural vanillin from vanilla pods. Vanillin sugar, on the other hand, is a mixture of household sugar and the flavoring vanillin, which can be produced artificially or naturally.
Therefore, only those products that contain natural vanillin from vanilla pods may be called vanilla sugar.
The vegetable gelling agent leaf Vegatine® is the vegan alternative to conventional leaf gelatin. It is made from seaweed, mostly red algae. It is a tasteless binding and gelling agent and can be used to thicken creams, mousses, jellies, puddings and jams.
Vegatine® leaf gelatine is many times more effective than conventional leaf gelatine. Its gelling power is around 6 to 7 times higher than gelling agents made from animal raw materials.
The Vegatine® leaf can replace conventional leaf gelatine in all dishes and recipes. 2 leaves of vegetable gelling agent are sufficient for 500 ml of liquid. 1 leaf of vegetable gelling agent corresponds to approximately 3 sheets of gelatine. 1 tablespoon with approximately 2.5 g of agar-agar powder corresponds to approximately 1-2 sheets of vegetable gelatine.
Foods gelled with Blatt Vegatine® do not melt on very hot summer days, as sometimes happens with conventional gelatine. The plant-based gelling agent only begins to gel at 60-97°C.
The Vegatine® leaf does not need to be soaked in cold water before use. It is placed directly in the specified liquid, brought to the boil while stirring constantly and left to simmer for a further 2 minutes until it has completely dissolved. In contrast to conventional gelatine, the Vegatine® leaf can be boiled several times.

You can decorate your cakes, tarts and muffins in no time at all with sugar decorations. You simply stick them onto your baked goods with Decocino food glue or place them on your topping. When decorating with sugar decorations, you just have to remember that they are not ovenproof. Decocino sugar decorations are available in more than 20 different designs.
